spirit

Miyagi-ism: one might find himself confronting a bully by singing or offering a french cruller. This tactic would most likely throw off the bully's desire to pulverize you and could spark some interesting future conversations. Not neccessarily a conversation about the future, but one that takes place there....or then.

  2. Interesting. Applying this tactic to other situations might be illuminating. I am envisioning how many situations one could use french pastries to ward off evil...a meat-filled bit of sandwich for a rabid dog, disabling a fleeing thief with the boomerang-like properties of the croissant, and let us not forget that one can insert a baguette into the spokes of a bicycle wheel, thus ending the criminal activities of satanic paperboys! It may be that the French have indeed achieved culinary greatness and self defense at the same time. I ask you then: Patisserie...or DOJO??!!??

  3. If one is being pursued by barefoot adversaries, a simple scattering of Croutons will deter them!
